All of our installations begin with a home survey. We offer free home surveys across Shropshire, so it costs nothing to contact us if you’re thinking of having a wood burner installed. One of our experienced engineers will visit your property to advise on which appliances would best suit your needs and space. This is also a great opportunity to ask any technical questions.

Once we’ve surveyed your property, we’ll put together a comprehensive quote. This will include costs for the wood burner, labour and flue system required for the install, and any associated trades required (e.g. electricians or plasterers). If you choose to go ahead with your quote, we’ll take a 25% deposit and book a date for us to install your wood burner. Installations take place over 1-2 days. When an install takes two days, we will lay down dust sheets and prepare the opening for your wood burner. On the second day we will fit the appliance and chimney connection. Finally, a specialist plaster will be set around the appliance.

At Continental Fireplaces, our work doesn’t stop after installation. We provide after-sales support for all of our installs to address any unlikely issues and maximise the lifespan of your appliance. 

We are happy to serve as your first point of contact should you require any support with your wood burner. We’ll do everything we can to resolve any issues for you. In the unlikely instance that we cannot fix the problem personally, we will contact the manufacturer’s technical department for assistance. We maintain good relationships with all of our manufacturers, helping us to resolve issues swiftly. As such, we offer a level of after-sales service that smaller retailers and solo traders are unlikely to match. 

We are happy to supply any replacement parts you need during the lifespan of your stove. We stock a variety of front glasses and door ropes in our Church Stretton showroom. Not only this, but we can order in parts as required and notify you once they arrive with us. We keep a record of our installations, making it easy to find the make and model of your stove and order any parts you require.
