Glass sides on the Quaruba XL are fitted with RB73’s SGI system. A clean glass system, SGI channels air over the fire’s viewing windows, preventing the build up of creosote and tars. The Quaruba XL is lined with 3mm CorTen steel. CorTen Steel forms a protective, oxidised layer – giving the fire its industrial look and preventing further corrosion to the metal. Heat-resistant glass and a concrete base also feature on the firebox for improved insulation.
If you choose a Quaruba variant with three sides, the rear is fitted with a 3mm thick steel plate.
