YETI Tundra 35 Durability
Due to its rotomolded construction, the Tundra 35 boasts exceptional durability. Formed in a single-piece mould, there are no seams or weak spots on this Tundra hard cooler. Its built from high-grade polyethylene, similar to white water kayaks. This material is food grade, UV-resistant and dry-ice compatible. YETI’s ‘T-Rex Lid Latches’ feature on the Tundra 35 – these heavy-duty rubber latches stretch down to open, removing the need for breakable clips or clasps.
The ‘NeverFail Hinge System’ also features on the YETI Tundra 35. This interlocking two-pin design removes another weak point from the Tundra and prevents your cooler from failing. This full-length, moulded-in, self-stopping hinge won’t hyperextend of break, keeping the Tundra in perfect order. Tie-down points and padlock holes are moulded into the cooler – when locked, the cooler is certified as a bear-resistant container. Polyester rope handles with textured rubber grips feature on the YETI Tundra 35 – built to last, but replaceable if the worst should happen.
